Meet Dr. Alex Thanh
Dr. Alex is a board-certified pediatric dentist who was born right here in Orlando, FL. He’s beyond happy to be home practicing near his family and friends.
Education & Experience
Dr. Alex is a board-certified pediatric dentist who graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry. He also trained for an additional two years at UF’s Pediatric Dentistry Residency – Naples.
Before dentistry, Dr. Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in Zoology at the University of Florida—making him a TRIPLE GATOR!
Background & Philosophy
Dr. Alex cultivated his passion for pediatric dentistry by organizing overseas mission trips to treat underserved populations while in dental school. He continues to spend some of his free time volunteering today.
Dr. Alex is a strong advocate for prevention and education but understands that when treatment is needed it should be done in the safest and least traumatic manner possible.
That’s why he takes his training in sedation dentistry very seriously, regularly keeping up with emergency training and airway management.
Outside of the Office
In his free time, Dr. Alex loves to cheer on his beloved Gators and goes to support his hometown sports teams. Go Orlando City! Go Magic! & Go Solar Bears!
Dr. Alex is an avid hiker and has set a goal to travel to all the national parks in the United States (his favorite so far is Glacier National Park).
Dr. Alex looks to turn the “tables” on his fellow doctors by getting them off the track and the court so he can beat them in table tennis, table soccer, and billiards!
